[NEWS] Discover my iced tea recipes

As I write this article, an early heat wave is being predicted across France, 36°C in Lyon, 34°C in Marseille and Paris... Here are my iced tea recipe ideas to stay hydrated all summer long!

Most of our teas are just as delicious in iced version. Our Organic Orange Blossom and Almond Green Tea is one of our easiest teas to adapt into an iced version, as is our Organic Casablanca Green Tea with mint or our Organic Blood Orange Rooibos.

I also recommend working with more original teas in iced versions. You will be surprised to discover them this way!

I'm thinking in particular of the Organic Pineapple Passion Fruit Green Tea, a real treat. Here are some tips to prepare it well:

1- Let your green tea brew cold for at least 1 hour.

2- Add a few pieces of pineapple or fruit of your choice to sweeten your tea naturally.

Cold brewing has the great merit of not bringing bitterness to your preparations, which will not be the case if you brew your tea hot and then let it cool in the refrigerator.

When you brew a green tea hot, you release the astringent tannins of the tea which will bring bitterness once the tea cools down. You will then tend to add more sugar in your preparation to counteract this bitterness. With cold brewing, you will not have this bitterness and the flavors will be naturally released.

Another simple and easy recipe idea with our iconic Organic Black Tea Pumpkin Chai, loved by many of you.

1- Let your black tea brew cold for at least 1 hour. As our Organic Pumpkin Chai Black Tea is rich in spices, the longer you let it steep, the stronger it will taste.

2- Add a few slices of orange or citrus fruit of your choice (lemon, grapefruit) to sweeten your tea naturally.

And finally, our Organic Green Tea Nutcracker is perfect for iced version. Here is how you can prepare it:

1- Let your green tea brew cold for 1 hour minimum.

2- Add some blueberries to naturally sweeten your tea or some pieces of coconut to recall the note of vanilla coconut that we have in the original recipe.

For those who wish to limit their daily intake of theine, the iced versions of our Lemon Verbena Herbal Tea or our Enchanted Night Herbal Tea are delicious!

The iced versions of our teas can be kept for two days in the refrigerator.

I wish you a great summer 🌞
